In this 4 hour Adult Beginner-Intermediate* sewing class you will learn to create a one-of-a-kind Kantha Foldover Clutch that is fully lined, with detachable wristlet strap, piping trim, and chunky beaded zipper pull! This Small Craft Advisory session is hosted by Shannon Hiramoto, designer and owner of machinemachine apparel and proprietor of Workshop: A Collective. It will be held at Warehouse 3540 in Lawai on Saturday September 16 from 4pm-8pm. There are only 8 spots available!
Kantha is a beautiful Indian quilted fabric made of meticulously handstitched recycled vintage saris. We will be turning these quilts into large foldover clutch pouches. Note that your project's Kantha selection will differ from the one pictured; there will be a variety of beautiful prints to choose from.
